Private Acupuncture & Coaching is a full-service, personalized session, available to all ages (including infants and children) during which we use a series of Eastern Medical therapies, including but not limited to acupuncture, cupping, guasha, auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture), light therapy, e-stim (electroacupuncture), moxibustion, acupressure (i.e. Tuina or Shiatsu bodywork), diet/lifestyle coaching, herbal consultation, custom herbal formulation and any other Eastern adjunct therapies needed. These techniques work together to holistically address your healing. Your acupuncturist will hand select the techniques they believe to be most important for your symptoms in each session and assess your comfort level with each of the available options prior to performing them.

We're herb nerds here at Light & Dark Acupuncture! Book an Herbal Consultation with a Board-Certified Herbalist here. Our Master Herbalists will do a thorough intake on your current symptoms, ask questions, take a look at your physical symptoms and create a customized herbal treatment for you. This treatment may include internal herbal therapy (taken orally) or external herbal therapy (administered externally via the skin or mucus membranes). Please note that the cost of herbal products is separate from the cost of Herbal Consultation.

At Light & Dark Acupuncture, we use a holistic model which incorporates many treatment modalities into each session if it is required for the client to heal. However, this section provides a few types of treatment we may use in a single appointment. For instance, our Acupuncture & Coaching sessions may include both acupuncture and cupping, but here in the specialty section, you may find a solo cupping session just for tension relief. Those looking for a specific modality performed alone or a quicker session or a session that is more specifically tailored to their primary issue may find that kind of treatment in this category.

TeleHealth Consultations are available to those who cannot make it into our clinic for a Private Acupuncture & Coaching Session. These consultations involve a thorough health intake of your symptoms followed by any combination of the following: diet and lifestyle coaching, herbal consultation and custom herbal formulation, light therapy consultation, acupressure or Qi Gong exercise guidance and/or other at-home techniques and therapies that can be used for clients who cannot come in for treatment.
